So, apparently Speaker of the House of Representatives, John Boehner, plans to divert money from the Department of Justice to pay for the Republicans' fight to defend the constitutionality of DOMA.

I've commented a bit on it here.

But, the tl;dr of it is, "so this is what they considering worth spending money on!". :|

It isn't just Texas that wants to criminalize bedroom activity between consenting adults.

This part of their platform is short:

"We support the clear will of the people of Montana expressed by legislation to keep homosexual acts illegal."

WTF? I wasn't aware that Montana had recently held a referendum on sodomy.
